Jamie B. Waller (born 21 February 1979) is a British entrepreneur, businessman and investor. He was the founder of JBW Group (a debt collection firm) in 2004. and then Hito (A FinTech company) which he founded in 2016. He sold both businesses for over £40 million and now operates his own investment fund.

Early life and education
As a child Waller was a member of the IMPS Motorcycle Display Team, a charity set up to help underprivileged children get out of the East End for weekends and school holidays. He joined the IMPS at the age of five and left when he was sixteen. He left Raine's Foundation School with no qualifications. In later life he studied Business at Cranfield School of Management, Stanford University and the London Business School.

Businesses
Waller started his first business at the age of 16 in domestic window cleaning after borrowing £1600 from the bank to purchase the business. He started working as debt collector with one of London's largest debt enforcement agencies, where he was appointed supervisor at the age of 19. He quit this job at the age of 21, and then took a year to travel the world. In Australia he started a business building and selling camper vans for other tourists. Waller then went onto work in the debt recovery industry as an enforcement agent where in his early career he was held hostage at gun point.
JBW Group
Waller founded JBW Group in 2004. In 2012, the firm reached a revenue of £14 million and employed over 130 people throughout the UK. In 2010 & 2012, the company was listed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to work for. The majority of JBW Group was sold in 2016 to a global outsourcing firm for a reported figure of £24m and Waller sold the remaining business in 2017.
Hito Limited
Working in partnership with the IT developers behind the fleet tracking system used by Addison Lee, in 2012 Waller led the development of a software platform based on data analytics and behavioural science.
In 2016 he launched Hito Limited (previously called Case Dynamics Limited). Waller quickly made bold claims that the business was here to "shake up the industry" and reportedly raised £43m of acquisition funding and within 6 months of the official product launch sold the business for a reported £9m.

Firestarters was formed in 2017 and is an equity investment vehicle. Through this, Waller invests in a number of private businesses.
Charities
In 2017 the Jamie Waller foundation was set-up and is currently supporting a number of causes including the Princes Trust Enterprise Scheme where Waller is a Patron of the Trust and the Imps Motorcycle Display Team where Waller was once a member. In 2017 the foundation committed £200,000 of donations to charity.
Media
Waller featured in the BBC's Bailiffs TV show for two years beginning in 2000 along with other members of JBW staff. He also featured in the follow-up show The Enforcers, and in the debt advice show Beat the Bailiff.
He is also a frequent contributor to UK news and radio where he specialises in entrepreneurship and personal finance.
